Bukit Panjang LRT Power Supply Upgrade

SCOPE: Design, supply and installation of upgrade to 22kV intake, power
distribution system, traction supply, LV distribution and PSCADA for all
substations, Depot and Wayside.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managed team of design engineers and drafters in order to produce all equipment
  layout drawings, cable routing drawings, civil work guidelines and mounting standards for Bulk Sub-Stations, Traction Power Sub-Stations and other areas as required
• Ensured compliance with contract specification throughout the project
• Co-ordinated with sub-contractors to ensure work was carried out to schedule and up to quality standards
• Provided technical support to construction team with regards to installation design issues
• Management of design changes due to issues arising during construction
• Design of new electrical equipment and validation through site mock-up
• Presentation of proposals to LTA senior management and Deputy Group Director
• Led challenging brown-field project which required equipment to be migrated from existing to new while maintaining full service
